The
Captain Frederick Pabst Theater, built in 1895, was designed
in the tradition of the great European opera houses. The Theater's
opulent Baroque interior includes an Austrian crystal chandelier,
a staircase crafted from white Italian Carrara marble, and
gold leaf embellishments throughout the building. Designated
a National Historic Landmark in 1991 due in part to its rich
German performance history, today the Pabst presents a wide
variety of entertainment, featuring jazz, classical, dance,
choral, comedy and live theater. The future will see an expanded
list of performers in out state-if-the-art theater. Call the

The newest addition to the Pabst, Cudahy's Irish Pub, is now
available to rent is an ideal location for private parties,
